Ellie Shefi is a Dean of a Law School, an attorney, an entrepreneur, an educator, a speaker, an author, and a coach.
From Long Beach, California, Ellie Shefi has overcome abuse, homelessness, domestic violence, cancer, and more, to rise and become the Dean of a Law School, an attorney, an entrepreneur, an educator, a speaker, an author, and a coach. Passionate about serving youth who may be experiencing some of the challenges that she experienced as a child, Ellie has spent over 30 years teaching, tutoring, mentoring, and speaking to youth. She has also owned her own businesses for over 25 years, and she has been an attorney for almost 20 years. She is the award-winning author of the upcoming book: Unlocking Your Superpower: 8 Steps to Turn Your Existing Knowledge Into Income, and she the co-author of the upcoming book The Authorities, which she is writing with Bob Proctor, Raymond Aaron, and Les Brown.

"As someone who spent the bulk of her childhood in the hood, who has lived in her car, who has overcome childhood abuse and domestic violence (and much more), I have dedicated my life to helping youth in challenging life circumstances. Specifically, I help them to develop a strong and resilient mindset; I help them with goal-setting and follow-through skills, with coping/communication/anger management skills, with time management and prioritization skills, with leadership skills, and with so much more."
