Hour 2: MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.   Kap & J. Hood discussed the state of Chicago Professional Sports . Has Jerry Reinsdorf destroyed the Chicago Bulls and White Sox?  

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed when is it appropriate for fans to demand change with the White Sox and Blackhawks front offices? The White Sox season has been more of the same, with an awful implosion today, and Davidson said today the playoffs are a realistic goal next year but would take a "major step." How about make the playoffs in 2027 or you lose your job for both front offices? Are fans *too* patient with these teams?

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Super Bowl Champion and Bears radio analyst Tom Thayer joined Kap & J. Hood with the latest updates on the Chicago Bears offseason. Kap & J. Hood discussed showboating in Youth Sports, has it gone to far? 

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed that Nico Hoerner is unbelievable. 8 RBIs in the last 2 nights! He is becoming a true superstar in this league, and it isn't just an 18-game sample... Basically the last 800 PAs he has been an elite player. Is it really that crazy to suggest he's the best player in the city right now?  What is with the teams in this town settling for mediocrity? The Bulls are committing to a head coach before even talking to GM candidates, and now the Hawks are extending Kyle Davidson after multiple consecutive bottom 3 finishes. Davidson, by the way, said in 2024 that they couldn't finish bottom 3 anymore. 2024!!

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver and afternoon radio co-host ESPN Chicago Tom Waddle joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears offseason. Kap & J. Hood discussed the latest on the Bears' new stadium, "I am dripping with optimism that we can put together a package that proves to the Bears that this is where they should be," said Rep. Kam Buckner, a Democrat representing the 26th District. It would give tax breaks for large projects like the new Bears stadium.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood discussed the Cubs got back in the win column impressively with a 10-4 win over Philly, and PCA was 2-4 in the game with a run. Are the concerns about PCA overblown, or is it fair to be worried about him as a hitter?  The White Sox debuted pitcher Noah Schultz; the Chicago Bulls picked up another first round draft pick from Portland.
