127. August Wrap Up

This week we are discussing all of the flashbacks in Manacled! This is really where the meat of the story is and when we learn SO MUCH about the background of how we get to where we are at the beginning of the story. We just love this story so much and cannot wait to be able to talk about the entire story! August was definitely our worst reading month so far this year - Kyleigh kept the momentum going and read 8 books, Hannah managed to read 5 and Micaela read 3. But don’t worry, we actually have some really great conversations this episode surrounding books! We’re debuting a brand-new segment in today’s episode, and let’s just say, it wasn’t as easy as we thought! Each of us brought quotes from books, and the challenge was to guess which character said them. Some were a breeze, but others had us completely stumped.
