In this long awaited episode, our hosts talk about grieving a life they could never have due to having an abusive mother, and how they cope with it now. They also discuss what methods they use to help live that childhood they could never have, and how it has both positively and negatively impacted them. 

In this episode, our hosts recount what it was like to grow up with parents that hoarded materials, along with those who neglected them. Our third episode of I Am Enough will cover the topic of going low/no contact with abusive parents, relatives, friends, etc. Our hosts take a deep dive into the reasons leading to this decision and how it has lifted a huge weight off their shoulders. Nobody wants to go no contact, but in an effort to preserve your own mental health and well-being this decision can be necessary. Flying Monkeys may try to guilt you for making this decision, and the hosts discuss how to cope with those who say, "forgive and forget."

In this weeks episode, our hosts talk about gaslighting, and how it's effected them throughout their lives. They also discuss ways they've coped with it, how they've overcome it, and what tools they offer our listeners to cope with their own examples of gaslighting.
