one thing i've learned in my life is the importance of self-soothing. it's a practice that should be taught early on in life so that we as humans can calm ourselves in the midst of the bullsh*t. self-soothing is simply the ability to nurture and regulate your emotional well-being + return to center when life be lifin' as it often does.
