In this episode we are delighted to have Jacqulene Brzozowski of Jac's Pack as our guest. We discuss her journey in finding her way to dog handling from the corporate world and the struggles of going against the grain. Having helped build a successful dog business, we discuss the driving factors and influences in her leaving the dog industry and the growth and challenges associated with such a big life change. In this episode we discuss the Oregon Tails Pack, its inception, evolution, experiences with dog psychology, shock collars and other tools, our trials and tribulations over the last 16 years and getting to complete harmony with the dogs in our care through feeling and handling them differently than the rest of the dog industry. The Oregon Tails Pack has always been an off-leash service on unfenced property with no breed restrictions and at its peak, was 55+ dogs of all ages, behavior types and breeds and disciplines. It has and continues to be our heart and joy, how we learned about dogs, developed the Jentle Method and have spent many thousands of hours growing in feeling, skill, knowledge and most of all, enjoyment alongside dogs.
