6. The Vegan Nigerian (feat. Tomi Makanjoula)

They talk about all of these things and more in the final episode of this series of Do You Even Vegan.

At the start of December, Darren and Adam hosted a series of talks in collaboration with the UK-based magazine, The Philosopher. In this episode, they talk to Syl Ko, an independent researcher focused on the intersection of decolonial thinking and animal ethics, and the author (with her sister Aph Ko) of the influential 2017 collection, Aphro-ism: Essays on Pop Culture, Feminism, and Black Veganism from Two Sisters.

In the first episode of the new series, Darren and Adam talk to Dr Muna Abdi (@muna_abdi_phd) and Enja Helmes (@enjali88) about class, accessibility and time resources in relation to dietary decision-making. 

In the final, Darren and Adam discuss marmite, banana ice-cream and their highlights from series 1. Lockdown is lifted and they enjoy a socially distanced meeting in St Dunstan’s Church, Stepney where they are joined by their final ‘guest’.
