Author Sarah Wilson on Collapse, Radical Acceptance, and How to Live Through Uncertainty
Sarah Wilson is a journalist, activist, and author of a new book: I Eat the Stars: How to Live Fully and Beautifully in a Collapsing World.
After years of climate activism, Sarah began to question whether our insistence on hope might be preventing us from confronting an uncomfortable truth: that the complex systems underpinning our capitalist world may already be collapsing. In this conversation, we explore what collapse actually means, the difference between the end of capitalism and the end of humanity, and how community, resilience and connection might help us navigate an uncertain future.
A note to listeners: This episode explores potentially overwhelming subjects, including climate change and societal collapse. Please listen at your own pace.
