Judah & Tamar

Genesis 38v1-30 with Tyler Staton Through the story of Judah and Tamar, we see how God works for redemption in the moments when we feel most forgotten. A story marked by deception, injustice, and shame ultimately points us to Jesus, who holds together justice and mercy, brings healing to our brokenness, and redeems our stories without dismissing our pain or excusing our wrongs. bridgetown.church/teaching

Genesis 37 with Bethany Sumbela The patterns we learn in our families can shape how we respond to pain and relate to others, but we don’t have to keep repeating them. John 15v9-14 with Tyler Staton What stories are shaping you, what habits are forming you, and who are the people shaping who you’re becoming? John 5v1-9 with Tyler Staton Jesus asks the man at Bethesda, “Do you want to get well?” and then tells him to get up, pick up his mat, and walk. Wholeness is a gift of God’s grace, but it also calls for our participation - choosing to get up, take a step, and follow Jesus into a new way of life.   Bridgetown.church/teaching
