Danny Throwing Dimes - Week 1 Review

I don't want to hear any more slander about Daniel Jones! Jonathan Taylor got his revenge game! Offensive line played great! Special teams player of the week? Xavien Howard... Cam Bynum!!!

It's not all about the Quarterback for a team to be successful, but in today's professional league, it is a major factor. Shane Steichen and Lou Anarumo are huge factors in the team's future. But talent is needed around a ball club, both on offense, and defense, and the play calling on both sides needs to be sufficient as well. Indy has talent on both sides of the football, but 2 position groups have to play well week in, and week out for the Colts to continue their success, and it is NOT the QB!

So many Daniel Jones haters said the Colts would get destroyed by the Dolphins, and there was no chance Indy could win. Daniel had one heck of a game, with 3 total touchdowns, and no turnovers, while throwing for 76% completions! In the meantime, Defensive coordinator: Lou Anarumo's defense stifled and confused a high octane offense. Accounting for 3 sacks, and 3 turnovers! Not allowing 100 yards or any points, until 20 minutes left in the game when Indy had a commanding lead.

Why did Daniel Jones get the start over Anthony Richardson? The Colts need to keep everything in front of them on defense! Biggest worry on defense is linebacker. Indy's offensive starters are not a problem. Be consistent, and quick with reads in the passing game. Run the damn ball! Predictions!

Jim Bob discusses the offense, and how he is very happy with how the tight ends are progressing. Lou Anarumo answers questions about his defense, and how the defensive backs are performing. Brian Mason takes questions about the special teams, and how there is no live tackle periods during training camp for his group. Thoughts on Jim Irsay. The defense should be WAY better. The Wide Receivers are set. Tight Ends should also be set, need some to step up. The middle of the Offensive Line is still worrisome. May the best man win the Quarterback battle.
