Montana Opener with Lars Anderson and Crispi USA

Im 4 days away from the start of my big winter trip so I asked George to join me on the podcast to talk about all the gear and planning that goes into a trip like this.  We also talk about the last few days of our pheasant hunting....spoiler alert! Its been AWESOME!!!

George, Wess and Myself sat down for a fun debate. We tackle some of the topics that we get asked the most. Our favorite birds, best dogs for pheasant hunting, and much more! 

This is the episode that I recorded with Tim all the way back in early October! Seems like years ago at this point. We talk about sharptail hunting with a couple of old school pheasant hunters and share some laughs about them and us.

After a few days of hunting everything that North Dakota has to offer we sat down with Dirk and Duane to talk about the new Copper Shot from Boss! Spoiler alert....Its NASTY!  We also talk about the Boss unleaded shells and some of our favorite parts of the week hunting. 

Greg is a passionate bird hunter and conservationist. His passions have lead him from designing dakota 283 kennels to owning a farm in South Dakota with some of the most pristine habitat that I have ever seen. Now his new venture is Habitat One. Habitat One is there to help make conections between landowners and programs that they can use to help put more habitat on the ground.

On this weeks episode we are joined by a couple of repeat guests to Sharptail Camp. Bob and Scottie were up here last year also and we break down how last season compares to this season. We also talk about their friendship and hunting trips planned for the rest of the season.

This week I am joined by Matt Davis from Final Rise and Jake and Nick from Gun Dog Grind. We chat about some of our highs and lows from a few days of hunting. Tough bird numbers. Elk Hunting and how it compares to Turkey Hunting and much more!

Lars Anderson from Crispi USA and his buddies were kind enough to invite me along on their trip to Montana for the opener for Sharptails and Huns. We had a great time even though the bird numbers werent what we had hoped for. We talk about our hunt and the new Upland Pro boots from Crispi USA, which were a passion project for Lars.

Joe Palmer is the Owner of Bird Hunter Supply Company. He joins us on the podcast to talk about how and why he started his business. We also talk about hunting in his home state of Idaho, his dogs, and more!
