In this chapter lord KRISHNA tells Arjuna you are not a subtle body but you are soul . Body of yours is perishable but soul is imperishable.

In this chapter, we see the agony of Arjun, because he had to fight with his elder Bhism and Guru Drona. Lord Krishna knows that Arjun feels reluctant due to the love and affection towards them. Lord Krishna give him discourse of Bhagavad Gita in the field of Kurushetra.
