Growing up in Germany in the early 80s as a son of a American father and a German mother. Constantly searching for his own identity he ended up serving and deploying to combat zones with two different armies. From the Bavarian heartland to meeting the president of the United States this once little boy who reached for the stars learned that life was both rewarding and painful, the struggle with loss, PTSD and the undying desire to serve. The recipient of the ACM for Valor and the Fulton County Police Medal of Valor allows a glimpse into his life in an effort to “open up” about his experience
