We discuss how Medicare is being changed to adopt some features of the various Medicare Advantage Plans, specifically, around prior authorization. This is a feature that is particularly unpopular with doctors and patients, but is being tried in some markets: NJ, OH, OK, TX, AZ, and WA. The vendors who perform these prior reviews are paid for denials. We interview her about her thoughts.The second segmentThis program celebrates the ideas and ideals in the film, "It's Wonderful Life."At a time when problems persist in Pottersville, George Bailey is considering whether he should have been born, or whether he should commit suicide. This film explores the things that are important in George's life, and what should be important in our lives, no matter the external factors that affect us. These could be financial, environmental, or political.
