This episode is an In Memoriam for two actors and entertainers who passed away recently. They left behind extensive body of their work that we have enjoyed over the years. In this episode I cover two of my favourites of these actors that I have enjoyed immensely and continue to love them.

My tribute to the following two actors

Manoj Kumar, also known as Bharat Kumar. He was famous for making truly patriotic movies and movies with strong social message. His rich body of work included block buster hits like Kranti, Upkar, Roti Kapda Aur Makaan, Shaheed, Dus Numbri, Sanyasi, Purab Aur Paschim and many more.

One of my favourite of him was the suspense thriller Gumnaam. It was released in 1965 and also starred other stalwarts like Pran, Madan Puri, Nanda, Helen and Mahmood.

Val Kilmer became famous as Iceman from Top Gun. His body of work included hits as Doors, Heat, Batman Forever, Saint and many more.

The one movie that is my favourite with him his The Ghost and the Darkness. It is a fictionalised version of a terrifying and true story of two man eating lions in Tsavo, East Africa. The story is captured in all surreality by Lt. Col. John Henry Patterson, who was deputed in Tsavo to construct a railway bridge. I strongly recommend for you to read his book The Man Eaters of Tsavo.
