Houston SX 2001

Bobby Bonds and the coulda, shoulda, woulda: Weigandt and Rarick find the long-lost Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider to discuss his best race ever, the 2001 Hangtown National. It was Bobby's second-ever pro motocross race...and the 16-year-old almost won! A day of battling for the lead with Grant Langston in both motos ended with a vicious take out by Langston that put Bonds on the ground and off the podium. By then, injuries were already starting to pile up for the rookie, and they only got worse from this point. This was Bobby's best race, it just happened at the very start of his career. Weigandt and Rarick discuss the day and then talk to Bobby about his racing then and his life now.

It's sort of the opening round of SX in 1988 and Matthes, Rarick and Weege talk about it from all the angles and as well as Micky Dymond's Yamaha debut, the narrow RJ win, Brian Manley, Ward's training schedule, Hollywood and more.
