The Dodgers took the series from the DBacks with a dominating 8-0 win on Wednesday. Shohei Ohtani received a day off but the offense was there to pick him up, knocking around Jordan Montgomery. On the mound, Yoshinobu Yamamoto continues to show that his debut in Korea may have been an anomaly. He went six scoreless innings and looked very comfortable on the mound. The Dodgers and DBacks were delayed by two hours thanks to some bees, and then the Dodgers were walked off on in extras. It was a bad night for the offense, following up a no strikeout day with nine strikeouts. Landon Knack was solid once again though. The game started nearly 2 hours late after a bee swarm was eradicated. The Dodger bats never really got going but Landon Knack looked solid in a 5 inning outing allowing 1 run on 4 hits. Bullpen wasn't lights out either as Crismatt surrendered a walk-off homer in the 10th to Christian Walker who had 2 dingers on the night. The Dodgers managed just 5 hits 1 from Freddie Freeman who extends his hitting streak to 10 games. 

The Los Angeles Dodgers beat the DBacks in the series opener and did something they haven't done since 2006 -- go an entire game without striking out. The offense put up eight runs, including an RBI single from Shohei Ohtani after missing an opportunity with runners in scoring position earlier in the game. Has Ohtani figured it out or is there still more to improve on? Lastly, James Paxton has struggled with his control and it finally cost him some runs on Monday. Dodgers fell behind in the first 1-0 but answered right back in the 2nd with 2 runs on a KiKe Hernandez double. They put up 4 more in the 5th on a night when not one Dodger struck out and every starter reached base. James Paxton did just enough to get the win going 5 allowing 4 runs on 6 hits striking out 4 walking 5 he is 3-0. Will Smith hit his 3rd homer of the season in the 8-4 win.

Even though the Dodgers lost on Sunday, they still took the series from the Blue Jays behind some strong pitching performances from Gavin Stone and Tyler Glasnow. Stone had the best start of his career, and Glasnow continues to be at the forefront of the NL Cy Young race. Good starting pitching will the key for the Dodgers this year. Also, Andy Pages is just 43 AB into his MLB career but it's been very good so far. He's cut down his strikeouts and been on fire over the last week. Is that sustainable? Dodgers extend their winning streak to 6 in a row with a 4-2 win they also take the series from the Blue Jays. Tyler Glasnow again was very dominant extending his scoreless inning streak to 14 innings with 19k's before giving up a run. He is the first to 5 wins in the majors. Mookie Betts leads the league with a .391 avg Will Smith is 2nd at .367 

The Los Angeles Dodgers completed a sweep of the Nationals on Thursday in a 2-1 game. Yoshinobu Yamamoto had his best start of the season, going six shutout innings with seven strikeouts.
