The December Issue is here! For the first time in American Vogue, a guest editor takes the helm: Marc Jacobs. The designer features model Kaia Gerber on the two stunning covers – one shot by photographer Steven Meisel and the other painted by Anna Weyant. Taylor Antrim and Virginia Smith, two Vogue editors who worked closely with Marc and Anna Wintour on the issue, gave Chloe the behind the scenes of how it all came to be.

After staying up all night to watch the election returns, Vogue’s political correspondent Jack Schlossberg arrived at The Run-Through studio on Wednesday morning none the worse for wear—but in a reflective mood about the meaning of the historic vote. He spoke to Chloe Malle and Taylor Antrim about what this week’s result means for the Democratic Party–and why he’s feeling hopeful for the future.

The duo plays Romeo and Juliet in director Sam Gold’s youthful interpretation of the Shakespeare classic, including original scoring from Jack Antonoff, vaping, and a Doc Martens-wearing Juliet. Gold has likened the aesthetic to a Troye Sivan music video, while Zegler assured co-hosts Chloe Malle and Liam Hess that her Juliet definitely had a brat girl summer. Connor and Zegler share their journey from starting as strangers to dying eight times a week together, navigating fashion while coming into fame, and what it’s like to watch Antonoff work. Last night, Daniel Roseberry, the American designer who has reinvigorated Schiaparelli since taking over as creative director in 2019, was honored with the CFDA International Designer of the Year Award. The Texas born-and-raised designer joined Vogue’s Nicole Phelps a few days earlier for a refreshingly frank, wide-ranging conversation about his journey from Texas, where he grew up, to Paris where he now resides full time.  

FINNEAS is not afraid of letting go. Whether it’s a song he’s written or a memento, the 10-time Grammy award winner shares that being precious is not a part of his process on this week’s episode of The Run-Through. FINNEAS first rose to popularity co-writing and producing music with his sister Billie Eilish in their parents’ Los Angeles home. He has since produced music for an endless list of artists including Drake, Rosalía, and Justin Bieber. He speaks with Vogue editors Chloe Schama and Chloe Malle about the making of his second solo album For Cryin’ Out Loud, attending the Met Gala, and working with Alfonso Cuarón on Apple TV’s new series Disclaimer. Plus, Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle discuss fashion news of the week, including Chioma’s recent conversion to Maria Callas core inspired by Angelina Jolie’s new film Maria, the best looks at the Academy Museum Gala, and a review of Armani’s first New York runway show.
