These boys are genuine superstars of the future and it was a pleasure to discuss their journey so far.FOLLOW USInstagram: @houseculturenetSpotify: HouseCulture - Perfect PlaylistOnline: www.houseculture.net|| Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/houseculture. 035: Sidney Charles. Sidney Charles is a DJ and producer so famed for his own specific style of playing, that it even has its own name – ‘The Sidney Sound.’ With a music journalist mother, Sidney was exposed to a wide range of genres from a young age and it was the sound of hip-hop that first got him into DJ-ing in his hometown of Hamburg. Quickly tiring of a limited playlist, it was Hamburg’s own Mousse T that inspired Sidney to try his hand as a house DJ and he has never looked back since. Whether it’s producing tracks that are deliberately kept rough and raw, or playing to crowds that demand his unique blend of rhythms, Sidney always delivers something fresh and is forever pushing the scene forward – in this conversation you will get to hear how.FOLLOW US Instagram: @houseculturenetSpotify: HouseCulture - Perfect PlaylistOnline: www.houseculture.net||Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/houseculture. 1:02:26

033: Josh Butler. Josh Butler has had a meteoric rise within the scene as a talented producer, an in-demand DJ and a personality who, in the words of Pete Tong, is “one of the UK’s premier house music talents.” After discovering a love of creating music via sequencing tracks on his PlayStation, a young Josh moved to New Zealand with his family and it was there that he began to produce the tracks that eventually led him back to the UK to study music tech at university. Josh’s breakthrough single “Got A Feeling” (originally championed by Will from Chase & Status) was such a success that it paved the way for Josh to play all over the world, setup his own label where he has worked with some of house music’s original maestros such as Todd Terry and tour with bona-fide disco legend Nile Rodgers and Chic.FOLLOW US Instagram: @houseculturenetSpotify: House Culture - Perfect PlaylistOnline: www.houseculture.net||Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/houseculture.
