God lives in eternity where there is no time but we live on earth where we have a the concept of time.  This might cause us to rush, slow down or think we can’t do something any longer.  But to God time is in his hands. One thing that I’ve learned about money is that you should invest and save your for rainy days.  It’s a bad idea to use up all your money as soon as you’ve earned it.  I compare it to a fruit. The skin you have to peel off the top, which is your tithes and offerings. The fruit itself you get to eat and enjoy its benefits which is the money you use to support your life and family.  And the seed you have to plant for future growth. We have to work.  God didn’t place us on the earth just to lazy around and do nothing.  He created us to be creative and produce something.  2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬ says “For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”  The reason Paul said is because he didn’t want lazy people becoming a burden on the rest of the community.  So whether you have a job or your own business. Or if you are an investor.
