I got a question from my, initial-student-turned-friend-turned contractor, Emylee. "Why are all of the mercury ruled nakshatra so intense?" The mercury ruled nakshatras of Ashlesha, Jyeshta, and Revati all contain gandanta zones. These are the ending degrees of a water sign and into the early degrees of the fire signs. This is why, similarly, the Ketu ruled nakshatras (Ashwini, Magha, Mula) can also carry an intensity. The mercury ruled nakshatras are especially mystical, intuitive, deep, and esoteric... consider yourself LUCKY if you have these placements and are interested in the occult.
