The Constitution of the United Kingdom is the system of rules that decides the political governance of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Unlike in most countries, it is not codified into a single document. However, it recognises that there are principles, such as parliamentary sovereignty, the rule of law, democracy and upholding international law.
