The Dove Award–winning singer helped shape the genre with hits like “People Get Ready (Jesus Is Comin’)” and inspired artists such as Katy Perry and Tori Kelly. More recently, Lewis co-wrote the Grammy-nominated song “Even If,” recorded by MercyMe. The song has now inspired the new film I Can Only Imagine 2.
