In the serene woods of Delphi, Indiana, a quaint town known for its scenic trails and tight-knit community, a heinous crime shattered the peace on February 13, 2017. The disappearance of two teenage girls, Abigail Williams, 13, and Liberty German, 14, while on a hiking trip along the Delphi Historic Trails, quickly escalated into one of the most perplexing and heart-wrenching murder cases in recent memory.Abby and Libby, as they were affectionately known, embarked on what was intended to be a typical outing, capturing moments of their adventure with Libby's cellphone.

However, they never returned home. Concerns grew as the hours passed, and the following day, their lifeless bodies were discovered near the Monon High Bridge, a popular landmark along the trail.

What followed was an exhaustive investigation that gripped not only Delphi but the entire nation. Authorities released a haunting image of a suspect captured by Libby's cellphone, along with a brief audio clip of a man's voice, urging the public to come forward with any information. Despite thousands of tips pouring in and a massive community effort, the perpetrator remained elusive.

Then, in 2022, A local man was arrested for the murders.

Now the trial for that man, Richard Allen is set to kick and in this episode we are taking a look at how we got here and what we should expect moving forward.
