quena: traditional Andean flute made of wood or cane. It has a narrow, cylindrical shape and finger holes.

charango: small, stringed Andean instrument that resembles a small guitar with a distinctive rounded back, traditionally made from the shell of an armadillo, and five pairs of strings.

marimba: Latin American percussion instrument consisting of wooden bars with resonators beneath that amplify the sound. The bars are struck with mallets.
