"Water as a Psychological Mirror"

Hydrotherapy is any treatment that uses water for therapeutic purposes — there are variations on this form of healing.  Whether we take a meditative trip to the beach, or pay a visit to the floatation tank — to relax tight muscles and submerse ourselves in soothing mineral salts.

Dan Erikson is a PhD, President of the Water Calming® Institute, in Minnesota, and a Fellow of the American Institute of Stress. His approach to using water as a therapeutic tool, draws upon our harmonious, pre-existing relationship with water. Emphasizing it’s natural cycles in relation to human perceptions of sensation and emotion.

With Water Calming® Therapy, Dan and his team, support individuals working through anxiety, trauma, grief and other personal challenges. Focusing on the cognitive, emotional and spiritual aspects of the self and the manner in which this part of us naturally integrates with water’s healing properties.
