Our Project Coordinator Danielle talks to Don, a Living Streets associate in Scotland, about the amazing story of his journey to the Antarctic, and how he uses this story to inspire children to make the links between Antarctica, climate change, and walking to school in Scotland. We’re lucky to also hear from one of the world’s greatest explorers, Robert Swan, who was the first person to walk to both Poles. He shares a special message to the children and families of the UK. Soaking up the culture and history of our streets is not only a great excuse to get out, it's a great way of connecting with our public space. To mark National Walking Month and Mental Health Awareness Week (18-24 May 2020),  we have a short interview with Shane O'Mara, Professor of Experimental Brain Research at Trinity College, Dublin.
