I want to preface this episode with a bit about me, because lately I've felt it's important we know who we are taking advice and information from.My name is Stephanie Powers. I'm the daughter of a mother who comes from a long generation of women forced into their masculine to survive. Single women, who escaped abuse from men. I've never seen a healthy relationship, but this has armed me with the wherewithal of knowing exactly what isn't healthy. I was an engaged woman at 22, married at 24, and divorced by 29. I had a comfortable marriage; no fighting, no drama. But that's just it. There was nothing to it. I have cheated and been cheated on. I have lied and been lied to. I have aimed for the stars and shot for the moon... and made it there. But I've also free falled back into Earth and landed on my ass.I am now in a healthy, passionate relationship that definitely comes with it's ups and downs, but has taught me what real partnership is. Who thought lust and a fairytale love could last well beyond the honeymoon phase! This is the spark notes of my story, and this is the soundboard I am projecting off of for this episode. Take what resonates, leave what doesn't. This is a summary of my experience with being unable to let someone go.Sending you all much love from our cozy Motorhome in Florida.Swww.lightworkers-lounge.com
