Jazzie B and the sound of Soul II Soul showcased the culture clash of UK Britain and the sounds that he absorbed. From the dub plates of he sound system, the West End clubs that he sometimes struggled to gain admittance to, punk, the homogenous sound of UK radio and everything in between, all helped shape the Soul II Soul sound.
