Now, some of you may recall (from our social media posts and prior episode mentions) that this weekend was supposed to mark our appearance at the Midnight at Dawn Kink Convention in Sudbury, Ontario. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled. But Becca and I decided - hey now, why let that stop us? It's no secret that Becca and I are MASSIVE nerds, and the X-Men in particular have always been near and dear to both of our hearts. With the recent release (and conclusion) of season 1 of X-Men '97 on Disney+, we felt the time was right to do a deep dive into why we love these characters, how they resonate with both of us, and how the X-Men have always been a powerful allegory for those of us who are different. Today, we asked her to share with us her experiences as a kinkster, polyamorous person, and neurospicy human, and the ways that those identities have interacted in her life. We had an amazing discussion, and are really excited to share it with you!
