After a month of episodes celebrating the release of Batman Caped Crusader, Cal & Liam return to the DCAU and where it all started with Batman The Animated Series just in time for its' 32nd anniversary! The hosts kick off the final month of original BTAS reviews with a look at "Lock-Up" and are joined by the episode's director Dan Riba as a special guest correspondent. Dan pulls back the curtain a bit on how he came to sit in the director's chair for the series, how his work at other animation studios prepared him for working on all of the DCAU shows (minus Zeta) and what BS&P mandated as far as the show was concerned on an episode commentating on police brutality. Plus he happily shares behind the scenes stories about recording day with the many rogues gallery voice cameos, why he likes the design of the Batplane, the mandatory use of Robin on the show and whether Lock-Up was considered for a return for an episode of The New Batman Adventures. All of this, plus a complete scorecard review from the hosts and much more await on this week's episode of the DCAU Review
