The guilt and shame of our pasts can often haunt us. It can effect our every action and decision. Why do we do this? How do we escape it? We embrace the past but we do not dwell.

Do you feel like you're burnt out? Or you just can'y get enough rest? You can't do enough? Well let me tell you, I have been there. Many times. I learned a very valuable lesson about how satisfaction is found and why I am always searching for it.

I often notice that I go to the Lord when I need something intead of always going to him. I think I do that in other ways too, especially when it comes to my health and fitness. I will go to fitness when I want to look a certain way or I will start eating better after my stomach already hurts.
