Fat loss isn't meant to be rocket science... So why do we feel like it is and how do we fix that? Insert Matt McLeod, Registered Dietitian and fitness coach (and one of my really cool friends). In today's show, I wanted to pick Matt's brain about sustainable fitness practices, especially outside the context of tracking macros. We're digging in to a lot of the mental side of things (hint: that's where the magic is, not the protocol) and the importance of acknowledging where your goals fit within your values, adjusting your expectations to be in better alignment with your values, and keeping the promises you make to yourself within your fitness journey. There is so much power in this episode for anyone looking to finally reach their goals with less friction and more lasting progress.

I'm digging into my reflections from this story and how it's played out in my life in real time (including some of my experiences in Sedona), some of the heavy emotions it's been guiding me through, and some of the "bones" of my own that I've been gathering.
