As a resourceful Stanford JD/MBA and US/UK citizen, Roy has proven complex problem-solving skills and global execution delivering high-growth, digitally-driven teams. He runs a management consultancy providing strategic advice and commercial services to digital leaders globally, particularly as an expert in the deeptech, fintech, smart home industries. In EMEA, he engaged many notable, brand name clients as well as many London-based incubators and their fast-growing European start-ups. Dr Gill Frigerio is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Warwick who leads on the Centre's qualifications in Career Studies and Coaching. Prior to moving into a teaching role, Gill worked in career development practice and management, and most recently was Head of Careers in the Centre for Student Careers and Skills at Warwick. Gill's teaching interests cover theory and practice in career coaching; working with vocation and calling; as well as researching career development practice. She has research interests in intersectional approaches to women's career development, socially just careers work and supporting practitioners as researchers. Gill is the Chair of NICEC, a learned society for those working in career development. She has recently completed a Doctorate in Education looking at a 'calling-informed' framework for career development practice and particularly focusing on women's experiences of work and faith.

Martina Rowley has organization and precision in her blood. Having been raised, educated and trained in Germany, her work ethic and style reflect her heritage. After a 20-year career as an executive assistant, Martina completed a business training program and then started her own business as a virtual business manager (VBM) and Certified Canadian Virtual Assistant (CCVA).   In her new book, “Supercharged Productivity: Overworked. Overwhelmed. Over it.”, Martina shares proven productivity and time management strategies.

He holds a BSc Mech Eng, and MBA, and is a Fellow Certified Management Consultant, and a UK Chartered Engineer.  He grew up in Kuwait worked in the Sultanate of Oman, and Jordan before immigrating to Canada in 1996.

But it's no less of a concern for anyone who has managed to amass some wealth. Making money is one thing; keeping it may require an entirely different set of strategies.  Our guest today believes “Money represents power and power represents freedom”. If you have some money, you have some of both. It’s better to hold on to it than give it to fast talking politicians or investment gurus. Your challenge is to save your money, avoid expropriation and taxes. Today we hear from Alex Doulis noted expert and best-selling author on taxation, investing, banking and asset protection.  He has written six books providing guidance to Canadians to legally avoid paying tax and hold onto wealth. They are NOT get rich quick books.  His background is in finance having received his Chartered Financial Analyst in 1978. He worked in the investment industry in his later years and at aged 50, in 1990, having determined that more than 50 percent of his income was going to the tax men he devised the ultimate income tax avoidance scheme. He quit earning an income and went sailing for 15 years.  At that time, he wrote the book “take your money and run”. During those years of leisure in the Mediterranean, Alex had the opportunity to write about investing, the Canadian stock market and how it got to be what it is and why the Canadian market is a very dangerous place for you.

Kevin Loring is an accomplished Canadian playwright, actor and director. He currently serves as Artistic Director of Indigenous Theatre at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. He also serves as Artistic Director of Savage Society where he develops work that reflects an indigenous world view. A Nlaka’pamux from the Lytton First Nation in British Columbia, Kevin was the winner of the Governor General’s Award for English Language Drama for his play, Where the Blood Mixes. The play explores the intergenerational effects of the residential school system. He also has a lengthy IMDB entry, with roles in Da Vinci's Inquest, Arctic Air and Health Nutz, and played Edmund in an all-First Nations production of Shakespeare's King Lear.
