Is there a more famous photo of a /2 VW conversion than the one with a bearded, leather clad Duane Ausherman from the late 1960’s? With that, we are thrilled to have Duane with us this week. Of course, we’ll talk about the /2 VW conversion but there’s so much more. Duane was in on the vanguard of BMW dealers in the early 70’s when company started expanding and building markets in the west coast. Duane later worked with the venerable Crag Vetter and nearly all of us have referenced his website https://w6rec.com/ as a trusted source for airhead maintenance and service information.
