Amanda Treppa loved her job AND she experienced workplace abuse. More than one thing can be true at once and we explore this notion to its depths during this episode showcasing our work in workplace psychological safety, and how we got here (as society, the abusers, the systems). Amanda fought back, embraced the duality, and embarked on the butterfly effect in every aspect of her life to see what was in store for her at her soul level.
While we are not grateful for the abuse, we are grateful for the invitations to explore ourselves deeper, to create new opportunities we never thought were possible, and we forgive. Through empathy and activism, Amanda is driving the Workplace Psychological Safety Act forward in not one but TWO states - Michigan and Connecticut.
Stay tuned to Amanda and her work in these two states as they will undoubtedly prevail in the coming year. Thank you for all that you do, and for sharing your story, Amanda.
