Due to the Winter Weather Advisory Ashes to Go: Ash Wednesday Service will be offered digitally with liturgy (scripture reading and prayer) on the WHCC podcast. The digital newsletter will offer prompts for reflection and a guide to partake in communion and imposition of ashes at-home. Here are the supplies you will need: -One glass filled with water, one empty glass to utilize for the reflection activity -Fruit juice & bread/cracker for communion -Flour for imposition of “ashes” Ash Wednesday Liturgy podcast episode will be released at 6 AM on Wednesday morning. We are halfway through considering spiritual rhythms that can be practiced in the midst of our lived realities, individually and communally. This Sunday we consider the spiritual practice of simplicity.

It's Embodiment Sunday in the Spiritual Rhythms for Real Life series. Pastor Keeyon guides us together as a community through the four postures of Lectio Divina. Lectio Divina is an ancient practice of listening deeply to the voice of God speaking through the sacred texts. This practice creates space and cultivates in us the ability to be fully present to the holy call that emerges from the text.
