American River Parkway Foundation Preserves "The Jewel of Sacramento"

The American River Parkway is often referred to as the jewel of Sacramento -- the lush green space along the American River that winds its way from Discovery Park all the way to Folsom and features a paved, car-free multi-use trail for cycling, runnign and more as well as rafting, parks, beaches and other amenities.

The American River Parkway Foundation is tasked with preserving and improving the parkway, as well as casting a vision for its future. On this week's episode, Executive Director Dianna Poggetto shares the ways you can visit the parkway, and the important work being doen every day by the foundation and its legions of volunteers.
