A media offensive backfires for Mikkeller, as they respond to breweries withdrawing from their Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen - some doing so on the grounds of their lack of accountability and transparency in handling workplace allegations. The Danish press labels the ensuing events a ‘’shitstorm’’, and the company ends the week with it’s first formal apology and acknowledgment of problems at Mikkeller. We are left to wonder: what if that media offensive had worked?
