Finding support, whether that is through mentorship, coaching, or even friends and family is key to making it through both a rigorous application process as well as CRNA school itself. Programs and faculty vary in the level of support, as well as the culture of different clinical sites. Being adaptable, receptive, and resilient is key. Amanda is a big advocate for building a support system, and focusing on your mental health through school. In this episode she walks us through her challenging experiences during CRNA school, and how she is helping others become successful SRNAs and CRNAs.
