This episode’s guest is Quentin Rund, project lead for Early Adopter Grower Innovation Community (EAGIC). Rund is a farm kid from central Illinois with a taste for technology. He has worked in precision agriculture for over 20 years and has seen many technologies come and go. From the farm, to the Peace Corps, to his own small business, his passion is to find tech that solves problems and makes work smarter and more rewarding.

EAGIC provides a new pathway for getting ag-tech innovation to the farm. They work with farmers to assess their needs and then, using their global and domestic network of innovators, find solutions that may address those needs and try them out on the farm. EAGIC shares the results with its farmer network. The program provides farmers a new avenue for learning about new technologies that interest them and finding solutions that fit their farm.
