On this episode, Mark Simon (@MarkASimonSays) is joined by a Defensive Runs Saved leader of the present and a Defensive Runs Saved leader of the future, Braves outfielder Adam Duvall and Braves prospect Michael Harris (@MoneyyyMikeee).

Duvall talks about the intricacies of playing the outfield and one of his specialties, getting to balls quickly so that he can make a throw to nail or hold a baserunner. He also talks about the challenges of playing each of the three outfield spots and the adventures he’s had with side walls and outfield fences. (0:37)

Harris, our minor league outfield Runs Saved leader, discusses his time with the Rome Braves (Class-A) and some of the outstanding catches he’s made this season. He also shares the message he writes on his glove to remind himself not to feel bad about taking away base hits (10:28).

Thank you for listening. Stay safe and stay well.
