JP Finlay, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey were present at the first day of Commanders minicamp and have lots to get to, beginning with the absence of Terry McLaurin, despite the fact that this week is mandatory for the team. JP and Pete are still quite confident McLaurin will be around for a long time, but Mitch's assuredness is wavering just a tad. After that, the hosts deal with the additional fallout of Jack Del Rio's controversial comments, including what Ron Rivera said about the situation as well as Jonathan Allen's strong take on it all. Finally, from there, the guys get to talk about on-field events like Curtis Samuel's return from his brief soreness and how the safety battle is unfolding before tossing to NBC Sports Washington's Jordan Giorgio's interview with Jahan Dotson. In that one-on-one, Dotson reflects on a hell of a compliment from Carson Wentz and describes what Del Rio's Tuesday, pre-practice meeting with the Commanders was like. If you like podcasts where JP identifies his rookie standout (and it's not Dotson), then this is the episode for you.
