The deadly accidental shooting on the set of the Alec Baldwin film Rust, is a perfect storm. Baldwin held the gun and pulled the trigger. A live bullet passed through cinematographer Halyna Hutchins who was behind the camera, and lodged into director Joel Souza’s shoulder. Hutchins did not survive, Souza was injured. So who is responsible? Assistant director Dave Halls who allegedly handed the firearm to Baldwin, armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reid, executive producer Baldwin? The low-budget set was plagued with walk-offs by union crews quickly replaced with non-union workers just hours before the shooting. Katrina Daniel and her guests, criminal defense attorney Michael Rosen, homicide detective Jeff Lewis, discuss how this tragedy could have been prevented and the legal ramifications to be expected.
