Want to increase your sales? But feel bad or guilty for charging more?

Sharing how my Valentine's Day sale went..the good..the bad... the pretty and the ugly. Take some time to reflect how each sale went, so you can learn from it and become a better business owner with each sale.

Some of you guys already closed your sales. Some of you have a few more days to push your sales. Some of you guys just opened up your sale. Or maybe you didn't get a chance to work on samples and you're debating whether to have a sale or not. It doesn't matter where you're at. Remember don't get too busy caught up in comparing yourself to others and spend time beating yourself up over what you did or didnt do. Let's spend our time moving forward and making the best of it. If your sales are not going the way you wanted them to, this isn't the time to call it quits and just not post about it anymore.

"Theres so many things I want to do and I feel like I dont have enough time to do everything. Then I feel overwhelmed and then my body doesn't want to do anything because it feels stuck. And doing nothing is easier." Feeling the same? This is for you!!

I hope this episode brings some awareness around your self doubt, your sales and maybe why your sales are not doing the best, which ultimately means your business is not where you would like it to be. We are getting small results because we are showing up in a small/minimal way. Sometimes when we are dealing with mental health issues/ personal issues/ health issues that's all we can do at that moment. But can you see it though? Or are you blaming inflation, the customers, saying things like everyone is selling treats now, and this market is too saturated? Maybe looking at your treats and thinking maybe you need to get better.. Maybe that's why people are not buying… Is it that? Or can it maybe be that you're showing up in a small way? That you're whispering about your sale and your business?

Today I want to help you set some goals for your Valentines day sale. Remember in the last past episode we talked about knowing where were at before we can get where we want to go? So thats exactly what were going to do in this episode.

When we get into this business, we are mainly thinking of learning how to make our treats better, where to get my supplies, we think of the extra money we can make, we think of building our social media, our website, getting a license, and so on. We hardly think of the business part of it. The marketing. We are going to have to talk about ourselves and our business to people. We were gonna have to be constantly be posting about our sale. That we are gonna have good months and bad months. Good years and bad years. That building a business is hard. Really hard. That if you are not well, your business is not gonna be well. Those are some of the things we don't think about but they are so vital to the business succeeding.
