With its soundtrack released on September 11th 2001 and the film following just a week after, some say Mariah Carey's Glitter was doomed from the very beginning. The film follows struggling singer Billie Frank as she falls in love with a top New York City DJ who helps her achieve overnight stardom. But for Billie, fame comes at a very heavy price.
