Hurricane Helene has grown to a Category 4 storm as it makes landfall in Florida, sending millions seeking shelter; A day after failing to bring down the Liberals, the Conservatives presented a second motion of non-confidence; and, Wayne MacKay, a 87-year-old from N.B., is taking on basketball players a quarter of his age. 

Despite surviving a non-confidence vote by the Conservatives, the Liberals now face a political ultimatum from the Bloc Quebecois; the RCMP in Sask. are being investigated following the death of an Indigenous man; and, taking a look at the future of Canada’s oldest ice rink in a N.S. town referred to as the ‘birthplace of hockey.’
