Churchboy Confessions

For many of us, we received an identity that was forced onto us by the world before we could even discover who we really were. For me, it was the “churchboy”. Throughout life I’ve learned that we are not who the world says we are, but are all individuals whose identities were given to us by God. It is up to us to discover that identity, and what we ought to use it for. Join me in discussions that will change our approaches to life forever.

Comparison & Covetousness (Emmanuel‘s Idolatry: Extended)

It's hard to feel content while comparing other people's blessings to yours. The truth is, our envy and covetousness for other people's things root from our urge to glorify ourselves. This is a problem, because we were created with the purpose to glorify God. When we find ourselves more concerned with glorifying our own image than the image of God, we become idolators.  Hope this episode speaks to you, let me know if you have any q's:   Read: Colossians 3:5; Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 6:19-21   Watch full video episode:

    Emmanuel‘s Idolatry

Today I had a lot to get off my chest about my current state of mind. I've been very covetous (greedy) as of late. It's all been mixed in with some comparison, envy, frustration and more. This is part 1 to the discussion since it got cut short.   Read: Colossians 3:5

The blessings come, but we still aren't in heaven. We will still face challenges. Some of us have arrived at a new level, and with every new level comes new challenges. Hurt People (Don‘t Have the Right to) Hurt People

I pray this one doesn't go over anyone's head. There must be a balance between acknowledging the the trauma, upbringing, and environments that cause us to have a tendency to behave a certain way, and taking responsibility for our actions. Sometimes, we hear "hurt people hurt people" as a way to pardon people from their bad behavior. Although this statement holds truth, God wants His children admitting their own fault everyday.   Read: Genesis 3:8-14; 1 John 1:8-10; Luke 18:9-14 Watch full video episode here:

    Another Episode About Being Incompetent

I've been fed these messages by the Holy Spirit, encouraging the people who think they are too dirty or don't have what it takes. If you're the person this is for, God is trying to let you know something. If He's died for you, and if He has called you, stop thinking you are too dirty or not gifted enough. Hope this episode blesses someone.   Read: Exodus 4:1-8; 1 Samuel 17:38-40; 1 Kings 17:14-16; Matthew 14:16-20 Support the ministry and cop a t shirt at   Watch full video episode here:

I‘m Incompetent and It Bugs Me

I've been wrestling with this voice of the enemy in my head. It's been telling me that I am too incompetent; I don't have what it takes to handle what God has put on my plate. Many of us hear this same voice everyday. In this episode, we address the voice head on.   Read: Romans 4:18-22; 1 Corinth 1:27-29; Isaiah 55:10-11 Watch full video episode on our YouTube channel, and don't forget to like and subscribe!:

    I Forgot About Grace

There are some of us that woke up this morning and skipped prayer and God time because we think we are too dirty for God. If you are one of these people, or ever have been, let's take time to remember what Jesus Christ did for us. We are going back to the basics because it is the foundation. We cannot build up without it.   Read: Romans 5:1; Luke 15:17-20; John 14:23 Watch full video episode here:

    God's Love In Our Suffering

This entire week is about love as we commemorate the UA's 3rd anniversary. Many of us see our suffering to indicate that God has left us and no longer loves us. However, this is not the case. Suffering is expected in the life of all human beings, and our comfort doesn't come from them being absent. It comes from our faith in God being present. #DTDOYY21   Read: Isaiah 43:2; Romans 8:35-39; Rev 21:4 Watch video episode here: Please don't forget to like and subscribe if you haven't already!

How To Be Content In Life

Even us Christians can confess to being discontent in life. Does this mean that God is not enough for us? God told us, " man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live." Let's break down what that means.   Read: Phil 4:11-13; Jeremiah 17:7-8; Galatians 5:22-23; John 15:1-5; Duet 8:2-3 Watch full video episode on YouTube:
