We have a problem right now in the United States and it is a lack of trust in experts. And in this environment, when you have political factions that play fast and loose with facts. I have been spending my time looking at issues that we are facing and how to plan for them. However, we have people that do not trust the Expert in the room. Tom Nichols’ book The Death of Expertise the campaign against established knowledge and why it matters explores the question of why do people not trust experts. Why do we not use mass notifications right?
