Coreen Simpson began her career as a photojournalist and became one of a handful of female photographers on regular assignment covering the Fashion Collections in Paris and New York.  Her images have appeared in Vogue, Essence, Ms. MagazineParis MatchThe New York TimesThe Village Voice and numerous books and periodicals.

She began designing and creating one of a kind jewelry in 1982 and quickly became known for her signature piece, THE BLACK CAMEO®
